Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a largish mountain recreation and tourist centre in the western Giant Mountains. The centre lies at a height above sea level of 650 metres in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains with coniferous forests. The dominant features of Rokytnice n. J. are the Studenov Ridge, Mount Lysa and Mount Kotel, which looms to a height of 1434 meters above sea level. The local terrain provides excellent skiing and hiking tracks, which are interconnected with those of another internationally known hiking and sports centre – Harrachov. There are 21 ski tows on the surrounding hills and mountains, a large capacity 4 seater ski lift on Mount Lysá and many winter and summer hiking tracks. One of the most popular tracks leads to the Elbe spring and along the ridges of the Giant Mountains up to the highest mountain in the Czech Republic - Snezka at 1602 metres above sea level.A description of the location of the recreational centre:
The HELAS three-star APARTMENTS are located in the new recreational centre on „the Upper Square“ („Horní namesti“), which is the main starting point for all types of winter and summer sports in the area. The recreational centre consists of 11 houses with an arcade with shops and services, which has been built in the Alpine style and forms a complex self-sufficient square. Parking is possible a round hotel or in a guarded car park 100 meters away. For an additional surcharge, garages can be provided. The facility includes reception, a bureau de change, a restaurant, a cafe, a sauna, an outdoor playground, a ski and mountain bike hire centre, a skiing school, several sporting goods shops, a supermarket and a post office. There is a bus stop in the close vicinity of the Upper Square, which is also used by Skibus, as well as several restaurants, a discotheque, a massage parlour and a solarium.Accommodation:
We offer accommodation in four-bed, three-star apartments (studios) with an area of ca 32m2 consisting of a large living room-cum-bedroom with a small dining area, a kitchenette, a toilet and bathroom and a hall. The two double beds are located in the sleeping area with the option of separating them using a curtain for increased intimacy. Unfolding the comfortable corner couch, which forms the social area along with a coffee table, can provide two more top-quality beds.We also offer accommodation in 2+2 two-roomed apartments with two separate bedrooms (the surcharge for the two-roomed apartment is 20% of the basic price). There is also one large 65m2, luxury two-roomed 2+4 apartment with a garret bedroom with 6 to 8 beds (the surcharge is 50% of the basic price). The rooms are comfortable and well furnished.
The living area is equipped with a colour television with a satellite receiver, a radio and a telephone. There is a completely equipped kitchen with two cooking elements, a fridge, a coffee maker, grill, microwave and a toaster, meaning that you can cater for yourselves. The apartment includes a separate toilet and bathroom with a shower, hair drier and clotheshorse. The hall includes a wardrobe, a safe (for a surcharge) and a vacuum cleaner. The paid services include final cleaning 1× week, bed linen, towels, toiletries, heating and electricity. Our basic prices do not include transport, catering or insurance.
