The hill Stráž (also called Strážník), is one of the guarding hills used in the past to warn surrounding villages of a danger of enemy's invasion. This fire message was supposed to get from our mountains via the hill Kozákov all the way to the inland, to central Bohemia. The rock lookout Strážník is located at the altitude of 778 m a.s.l. and offers a beautiful view of the whole Rokytnice and also of Lysá hora and Kotel.
