The Lower Square is built in the centre of Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Its construction was finished at the end of the year 1998; it is thus a new modern object with nice architecture, which does not disturb the style of the Giant Mountains' chalets at all.
At the Lower Square, you can find sports shops, information centre, shopping arcade, real estate agency, the office of Česká spořitelna with its ATM etc. Nearby, there is a restaurant, bistro, disco, cinema, billiards bar, grocery shop, bus stop, post office, the office of Komerční banka with its ATM etc.
